As follow-up to the Terror in Bel Air story: the crime of stalking, and a case that ended up in court in 2022. Jose Luis Fitoria Jr., age 50, was accused of preying on a young female influencer and model (Victim X). Court documents show these acts of stalking, harassment, intimidation, and threats, occurred in the workplace at XY Systems/Zeppo Products (XY/Zeppo) located in a home office on Nalin Drive in Bel Air, CA.
Via multiple sources XY/Zeppo business owner Frank is reported to be of Iranian descent, leading some observers to draw parallels between this incident and that of the 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini who was murdered while in custody for not wearing her Islamic headscarves (hijab). Upon being informed of the harassment received from Fitoria, evidence shows that Frank would send Victim X text messages warning her when Fitoria and Monterrey left and that it was safe for her to come to work.
Due to the crimes Fitoria committed, the business owner may be in jeopardy of being deported back to Iran, if it is found that he was aware of the crimes and helped cover them up. Furthermore, the business owner stated in his declaration that there was no audio captured by the security cameras, when in fact evidence proves there was audio on the security camera footage. The business owner could also be facing charges for committing perjury, intimidation, retaliation, extortion, and obstruction of justice.
Numerous sources have also come forward confirming Fitioria shared with them Victim X’s social media account, and they told Fitoria that they did not want any part of being involved with his “stalking spree.” One source who worked with Fitoria and Monterrey, has known them for years, states “enough is enough, I am coming forward because I am doing what I would want to be done for my daughter. I am ashamed that I called Fitoria and Monterrey my friends.
Another source who has also known Fitoria for years, states that they know for a fact Frank XY business owner, owns property with Victim X and the XY business owner was trying to extort her saying he will sell the property she was living in, if she didn’t drop this case. Frank also had Victim X sign a notarized document saying she is part owner of two other properties in Woodland Hills (at The Met) and Studio City, with him which she worked hard to find and place good tenants in. Victim X elevated the XY/Zeppo and its marketing by taking professional pictures and creating a company logo. Before she aided the company, they were taking shoddy pictures of their products on the stairs using a camera phone. She was nice to everyone’s children including Fitoria’s and Monterrey’s children. She would help Monterrey’s daughter turn on the T.V. at the office and get her daughter food. In contrast, Fitoria would bring in a Christmas gift for Frank and the dog (a dog that Frank and Victim X co-owned) and purposely exclude Victim X. Monterrey would bring Starbucks to the office for everyone except Victim X. What kind of mother would do that? Monterrey is an incompetent employee as she called in to take the workday off claiming she had a headache every Monday for several years. Monterrey screaming at Vitim X about having all of her degrees, and questioning what was she doing there working for the company and stating that she, Fitoria and Sandra Tump (the cleaning lady), had plans for the business owner doesn’t surprise me. Monterrey who also stalked Victim X online in conjunction with Fitoria, would also come to work with eccentric heavy makeup attempting to imitate Victim X’s looks from her pictures on social media.
Another source that has also known Fitoria for years and did work for XY, detailed that Fitoria knew that Victim X realized that Fitoria had been stealing inventory from the company as the owner was not wise enough to have an inventory system in place. This is when Jose went into overdrive attempting to terrorize Victim X. In an attempt to cover his tracks, he pulled up a seller on EBay that was selling XY products and showed it to the business owner. The business owner being gullible did not put two and two together that it was Fitoria who was the seller. The source revealed that, Monterrey, and Fitoria were also stealing silverware from the business owners home. Fitoria was also sabotaging Victim X’s work i.e. the ads she would post for the company, trying to make Victim X look bad. This source divulged that Fitoria got his own children Nathan and Klarissa involved with the stalking spree. The source stated that they suspect Fitoria is blackmailing the business owner as Fitoria would brag that he knows secrets about the owner’s sister and her blood relation. “I am shocked that the owner Frank failed to protect Victim X as he stated to all of us on numerous occasions that she was his daughter, she would spend every holiday with him and his family, and he had pictures of Victim X and his family in his living room and around his house.” Fitoria called the business owner’s dog carbon (a curse word in Spanish). Fitoria would also brag about instances that he has evaded the police and gotten away with breaking the law. At the height of the pandemic Fitoria told me about making fun of Victim X for wearing a mask and got close to her stating I forgot my mask and laughing (which was also caught on the security camera).
Ben a former Los Angeles detective, stated that he reviewed the evidence before he left the force. He specified that there is clearly audio on the security cameras and Fitoria did commit the crimes he has been accused of. Ben specified “Fitoria has an extensive rap sheet and he has also used other names when being booked. I find it disturbing that this has happened to this young girl.” I hope that the LAPD rectifies their wrong doings in this case, as they should of arrested Fitoria when he contacted Victim X while there was a TRO in place.
As Fitoria also does work for restaurants Della Terra and HauteMess, patrons of these restaurants have attempted to email the owner and leave Google/Yelp reviews regarding his criminal employee. An employee of Della Terra, going by the name Jane, detailed that they have seen Fitoria doing work around the restaurant and he seems to be gruff and ill mannered. The source also divulged that Fitoria has bragged about coming into work hung over. This employee hopes that Michael the owner, does the right thing upon finding out that Fitoria has a criminal past, and gets justice for Victim X, or else they intend to find a new place to work as they will not feel safe being subjected to work with a convicted criminal.
Sources also divulged that Fitoria does work as a printer repair man under a (Hewlett-Packard) contract through Zeppo Products, and he enters the homes of residents in Los Angeles and Orange county. Fitoria is also said to be doing work for FedEx, using the name Luis Fitoria. There is evidence that proves that Monterrey and Fitoria both committed perjury.
Parents are furious as Monterrey’s daughter attends grade school in the Hollywood area. They are fearful that the violent convicted criminal Fitoria, has access to their children. One parent who wishes to go by the name of Alison stated “I have taken my kids out of the school that they attended with Monterrey’s daughter as I feared for the safety of my children. After watching the documentary, and hearing this story in the news, I find it despicable that Monterrey and Fitoria who are both parents themselves, would harass Victim X and be in a jealous rage because she is highly educated, has degrees, and was a successful social media influencer. We teach our children to value education and to not be bullies. Fitoria and his mistress Monterrey are exactly what we do not want our children to grow up to be. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Patients of UCLA medical are also outraged as a third accomplice of the stalking spree, Adrienne M Landin, works as an office clerk there. A patient of UCLA medical who wishes to go by the name Anna, says “I am thoroughly disappointed in UCLA medical as an organization that they would employ someone who has such close ties to a violent convicted criminal, I will no longer be a patient there, and I will not take my family to this hospital group until they make things right.” Upon knowing he would be court-ordered to turn in his phone for evidence, Fitoria, Monterrey, and Landin changed their phone numbers on February 25, 2022.
Tim a Bel Air resident states "the owner should know that retaliation, intimidation, and extortion, are highly illegal. I hope Victim X presses charges for these crimes. If this business owner wants criminals and to work for him he should go live in Compton! I will not allow this to carry on in my pristine neighborhood."
Another source, who lives in Orange County, and wishes to go by the name Allen, states that he is someone who would call in to get his HP printers serviced, he is terrified for his safety and that of his family. He is livid that information of the employment of this violent convicted criminal Fitoria, was never disclosed to potential customers, and Fitoria is allowed to enter resident’s homes, and businesses. He is disheartened that this information was not disclosed to Victim X as he too has daughters and is scared that when they work for employers that are in jeopardy of being attacked by unhinged coworkers. Allen states “I am a grown man, and reviewing the evidence, I would be terrified if a co-worker was standing over my desk beating his chest screaming the things Fitoria did. How did this business owner listen to this evidence and do nothing? Is the business owner deaf, how could he commit perjury for a convicted criminal and say there is no audio?”
Residents are calling for the police to call these individuals in for questioning, which should have been done long ago before evidence was destroyed. A Bel Air resident by the name of Reza, said “I am ashamed to learn that this business owner is of Iranian descent,” and says that “the owner Frank is a horrible representation of the Persian community as we do not associate with criminals of any kind. He says that Victim X should have never been treated this way, as we protect our women.” A neighbor of The XY business owner, that prefers to go by Tina, recalls the neighboring house being broken into while Fitoria was working out of the Bel Air home. She sates that she is terrified for her own safety and that of the other females in her family. Various neighborhood watch groups have since been formed to protect the community. It is urged that residents remain vigilant as Fitoria could be stalking you or your daughter.
